A sizeable crowd of fans gathered at Vonabo football ground in Glendale to watch
Panashe FC trash Vonabo FC 4-1 in a Murodzi Soccer league match played last
week on Sunday.
The match commenced on a very interesting pace after both teams put on a display
of good passing game. The losing team, Vanabo FC scored their solitary goal early
in the first half, but Panashe FC proved to be the true football hunters after creating
an equalising goal, just four minutes later. What a fair pulsating game!
The teams went to break after registering a one-all draw on the score board.
When the match continued after the break Panashe FC scored another three goals
in the final half to make it 4-1.What a tough match!
Vonabo FC tried all the tricks to pile pressure during the dying minutes and the
strategy seemed to have paid off when they scored. However, the goal just before
the final whistle, was disallowed.
The match ended with Panashe FC leading 4-1 over Vonabo FC.
Previledge Murombo, Panashe FC’s official soon after the match, said he was happy
with his team's current play and hoped to be on top of the log.
"I am glad that our team has played well, we are happy and it’s our hope that our
team will keep winning up to the end of the season."
.Panashe's victory was also witnessed by Condani Kanjuta and Sabora Sabora who
are the top management staff members of Dumile Investment (Pvt) Ltd, which is
currently sponsoring Panashe FC.

team failed to utilise clear scoring chances.

in the sixth position on the log, with 22 points from 15 matches played so far. Vonabo
FC is currently seating in the fourth position on the log standing with 25 points from
