THE Midlands Provincial Registrar, Agnes Gambura, who passed away on Monday at the Avenues Clinic after a brief illness, was laid to rest on Thursday at Warren Hills Cemetery in Harare.

She died at the age of 61.

According to her niece, Marvellous Shamiso Gambura, Agnes succumbed to her illness shortly after experiencing severe headaches.

“We are in deep pain; her passing was so sudden,” she said.

The Minister of State for Midlands Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Owen Ncube, extended his condolences to the Gambura family, describing her passing as a significant loss for the Midlands Province.

“Agnes was a dedicated public servant who contributed greatly to our province. She will be dearly missed,” he stated.

The community remembers Agnes Gambura for her unwavering commitment to public service and her warm spirit, leaving behind a lasting legacy that will not be forgotten.

She is survived by one child.
