THE Zimbabwe Republic Police is appealing for information that may lead to the location and arrest of
21-year-old Douglas July of Domboshava, who is wanted for murder.
Anyone with information that may help police to locate him can report to the nearest police station or
base across the country.
According to Inspector Milton Mundembe, the Mashonaland Central police provincial spokesperson on 3
March this year, Douglas July, stabbed his fellow villager several times in the stomach, chest and
shoulders for allegedly insulting July’s mother.
He said: “On 3 March, the wanted person met Crispen Chinduso (24) along a footpath in Chaitezvi
Village, Domboshava, walking with his wife, Nancy Denhere (18), around 6pm, heading home and
stopped them.
“He accused Çhinduso of insulting his mother sometime last year, but Chinduso denied the allegations,
prompting the two to start fighting.
“On sensing that he was being overpowered, July then released a pocket knife from his pocket and
stabbed Chinduso several times on the stomach, chest and shoulder and fled.”
Chinduso was ferried to Bindura Provincial Hospital immediately for medication, but unfortunately died
from the injuries the following day around 10am.
July is still on the run and police are pleading with members of the public for information that may lead to
his location and arrest.
