GWERU- The highly anticipated burnout event, which has become a staple on the local motorsport calendar, did not disappoint spectators, with drivers pushing their vehicles to the limit and beyond.
The event featured a range of high-performance vehicles, from sleek sports cars to powerful muscle cars, all competing for the top spot in the burnout competition.
Drivers showed off their skills, performing donuts, drifting, and other high-speed manoeuvres that left the crowd gasping in awe. The screeches, the smoke, the raves and the speed exhibited by the spinners was the order of the weekend, courtesy of Mahogany TV.
Skilful spinners burnt tyres of their vintage vehicles when they put out their best stunts, battling on the arena, and the smoke from burning rubber engulfed the venue to the delight of the fans of different ages.
The event was well-organised, with safety precautions in place to ensure the well-being of both drivers and spectators.
The atmosphere was electric, with music pumping and the smell of burning rubber filling the air.
Hip hop musician Volts JT who was the main act however disappointed as he only came on stage at around 10pm, which left children disappointed as some could not wait until so late.
Local artists Baba Gweru and Belcher entertained people as part of the curtain raising acts.
