GWERU based Afro-fusion artist Henrytalentboi is set to drop a six-track Extended Play tittled
Gwangura at the end of this month.
The EP was produced by MTJ Beats, Smart Music and Ougwei Beats.
In an interview with The Times Arts and Entertainment, Henrytalentboi, whose real name is Henry
Augustine Musingarabwi, said the EP is called Gwangura as it was a shift from Zimdancehall to Afro-
fusion.
I named it Gwangura because my fans used to know me doing dancehall music and this time, I
decided to do something new to surprise them,” he said.
The tracks on the EP are: Pondo pamuonde, Mhanza mudoro, Vhura mupoto, Dzinga demon, Ziva
and Tora chitapimbi.
He said his best track Pondo pamuonde was inspired by negotiations people do when buying
something.
I realised that when running a business, people always want to negotiate to get what they want,
that is why I did this track Pondo pamuonde, said Henrytalentboi.
He also said Vhura mupoto is the track he did to notify Gweru fans that he is back with another
banger.
Vhura mupoto is a song whereby I'm telling my fans that I'm back with the best music for them to
listen to, he said.
On the track Dzinga Demon, he encourages people to pray.
On the track Dzinga Demon I was encouraging people to pray to God so that they wont be attacked
by evil spirits, he said.
The Gweru based Afro-fusion artist, who worked with artist like Gift Amuli, started his music career
in 2020.
